There’s just one thing I’d like to tell you.
Be your home.
Your body is the only house,
The only property that you will really own.
There are some broken windows and stained floors no doubt.
But there’s also wisdom in your bookshelf.
Your laughter lightens the room.
The love that you grow, blooms everywhere.
Your dreams sit on the table, next to your trust.
You use them all so often, that they never collect dust.
Your body is beautiful,
There’s more that makes it home than size or shape.
It deserves loads of love.
Don’t ever let the world around you,
Tell you how to paint your walls.
And let the cracks from the past remain, they’ll only let the morning light in.
